Our bartender was amazing, I wish I remembered her name but she did have purple hair and contacts, we went 2 days in a row and she remembered what we ordered the night before, she was amazing made sure we got our food, made sure our glasses were full and she was great to us. Definitely going back because of her service. To add the food was amazing to, to be honest we were very surprised how great it was, the 2nd night there we ordered so much more food than the previous. But Hideout is definitely a spot to check out
We just finished a delicious dinner here with great service from Brandy. We started with fried jalapenos stuffed with crab. Absolutely amazing. Wife loved the fried shrimp basket and I had the catfish basket which were both delicious. Tasted super yummy. We will definitely return the next time we're back in Rockport. The bartender from Boatman's Club recommended and she definitely did not steer us wrong. Thanks!
Excellent food! I ordered a chicken sandwich and it was enormous. The sandwich and fries were delicious. My husband ordered catfish and he loved it. First time here and I would recommend this establishment. The atmosphere is like a sports bar but plenty of seating. It was very quiet when we were in. Service was excellent.
Absolutely loved this spot! First off, major points for being smoke-free indoors—it’s so nice to enjoy a meal without a cloud hanging over it. The drinks were on point (seriously, whoever’s behind the bar knows what they’re doing), and the blackened redfish? Out of this world. Perfectly seasoned, flaky, and packed with flavor. Great vibe, great food, and a place I’ll definitely be coming back to!

Great local spot! I always just drove past thinking this was, well, a bar. A friend introduced me to this spot for lunch. GREAT Chicken Fried Steak!!! No kidding- I think top of the best I have ever eaten. Great shrimp salad. Everything was fresh . Staff was Rockport Texas Friendly! There are multiple pool tables and and yes, a bar type atmosphere- but it is local local GOOD FOOD!
